She is survived by the husband, James Otis Cook; one son, Albert of Peoria, Illinois; three daughters, Mrs Irene Sebastin, Mrs Ethel Burton and Mrs Josephine Day; one sister, Mrs Nellie Merritt; three brothers, Oscar, Albert and Andrew Jackson Barrett; 25 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. The body was taken to Callahan Funeral Home.
Lizzie died from a Cerebral Hemorrhage & suffered for 34 days. Her parents are listed Andrew Jackson Barrett & Sarah Elizabeth Baldwin with birth location incorrect on her death certificate. Her informant was her daughter Mrs Irene Sebastin. Her funeral was conducted by Callahan Funeral Home in Terre Haute with burial in Highland Lawn Cemetery, Terre Haute on Friday, 30 May 1947.
