"MILFORD - Funeral services for Mrs. Lena Cox were held at the Tillapaugh Funeral Home here last Wednesday and burial was in the Westville cemetery. Mrs. Cox, who was 51 years of age, died Monday of last week at the Fox Hospital, Oneonta. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Sherman, who formerly lived at Edson Corners. Her husband, Clifford Cox died several years ago. Mrs. Cox had made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Richard Downs of Oneonta, N. Y., RD 3. Besides her daughter, she is survived by two sons, Gordon of Unadilla and Alvin Cox of Oneonta, and by two brothers, Birdsey Sherman of Catskill and Everett S[h]erman of Morris."
