MARY SUSAN BRYARLY was born on 5 June 1815 at "Walnut Grove" in White Post, Frederick (now Clarke) County, Virginia to Richard Samuel Bryarly & Susanna Conway Fitzhugh-Bryarly.

Mary married Edwin Bowen circa 1836 in Virginia, and they had ONE daughter that is known of:

Susan Amelia "Millie" Bowen-Bonham (1841-?).

Mary passed away when her daughter was only 2 yrs old, on 30 April 1843 at their home in Warren County, Virginia. Mary was laid to rest in the Old Bryarly Cemetery on their family farm "Walnut Grove," White Post, Frederick (now Clarke) County, virginia.
