He attended McPherson College and married Iva McCormack on May 18, 1941. His education and honeymoon was interrupted by the draft just before the bombing of Pearl
Harbor. He served in the Army during World War II in the South Pacific as a Chaplain's assistant and as a clerk. After his military service, he finished his B.A. at Huntington College and then graduated from Grace Seminary in 1953.
After the loss of his wife, he married Lucinda F. Rogers November 21, 1950, and founded the Montclair Grace Brethren Church in Montclair California. He also pastored a church in Taos, N.M., and held several positions at the Southern Counties Gas Company.
He spent most of his retirement in Dolan Springs, Arizona. After the death of his second wife, he married Willajoy Klaap Meyers on March 2, 1997.
Victor is survived by his third wife, Willajoy, a son, Dennis Meyers of Murfeesboro, TN; two daughters, Pamela Varos of Littleton, CO, and Nancy Faltermeier of Lakewood, CO; a
sister Verla Aldrich of Spearfish, S.D. and nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
