Chief Surgeon of the Illinois Steel Company and surgeon of the Elgin, Joliet & Eastern Railroad. Dr. Burry served as Captain in the Medical Reserve, U.S. Army and was honorably discharged on March 27, 1918. He was the first American Physician to produce X-Rays. He was found dead in the Illinois Central tracks.
