Mrs. Meddie Williams, 63, of Route 1, Hermitage, died at Madison Sanitarium yesterday afternoon following a two-week illness.
The former Meddie Wilson, she was born at Hermitage and attended county schools. In 1905 she was married to L.W. Williams who survives.
She was a member of the Presbyterian Church.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Presbyterian Church of Hopewell, Tenn., tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial will be in the Wilson Burial Grounds at Tulip Grove, Tenn.
Other than her husband, she is survived by a son, Orville Williams of St. Louis, Mo.; a brother, James(Junius) Wilson of Hopewell, and two grandchildren.
