Graveside services to celebrate the life of Bertha Rabon Bass, 78, of Camden, SC, will be held at 1:00PM, Saturday, September 22, 2012 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Camden. Rev. Keith Coates will officiate. Family will receive friends from 6:30–8:30PM, Friday, September 21, 2012 at Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel. Memorials may be made in Mrs. Bass's memory to DeKalb Baptist Church, 2034 DeKalb School Road, Camden, SC 29020 or Alzheimer's Disease Support Group, 4186 Fernandina Road, Columbia, SC 29210.

Bertha Bass was born in Camden, daughter of the late Sam and Irene McCaskill Rabon. She was married to the late Henry Bass, Jr. Bertha was a retired former employee of Skyline.

Bertha is survived by her daughters, Bertha Clack (Danny) ,of Westville, Joann Sowell (Larry) of Kershaw, and Kim Faulkenberry (Jeffrey Jr.), of Cassatt; sons, Jimmy Bass (Lelah) of Bethune and Tim Bass (Jeannie) of Camden; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; sister, Lavinia Stevens of Cassatt; and brother, Olin Rabon, of Hartsville, SC

Besides her husband, she was predeceased by son, Johnny Bass; brothers, Lloyd Rabon, Junior Rabon and Curtis Rabon; and sister, Ruby Clyburn.
