ROCK HILL — Miss Deborah Kay Giles, 55, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013, at the home of her parents. Funeral services will be held I p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013, at Cornerstone United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Irvin Plowden officiating. Interment will follow at Grandview Memorial Park on South Cherry Road. Miss Giles was born in Augsburg, Germany, the daughter of JP "Pete" Giles and Lucy Harless Giles. She was a graduate of Northwestern High School and Winthrop University and taught math at Northwestern High School. She was a member of Cornerstone United Methodist Church and was active in the South Carolina United Methodist Women. In addition to her parents, she is survived by two brothers, Tim Giles (Heather) of Rock Hill and Brian Giles (Michelle) of York, S.C.; three sisters, Terri Williams (Don) of Chapin, S.C., Linda McGill (La- mar Parker) of Sharon, S.C., and Rebecca Roberts of Rock Hill; nieces and nephews, Michael and Chris Blackwell, Travis Jackson, James and Brandi Caminiti, Talan Efaw, Heath and Hailey McGill and Amber Giles. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 28, 2013, at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Rd., Rock Hill, SC 29732 and other times at the home of her parents, 3199 Hilton Rd., Rock Hill, SC 29732. Memorials may be made in Miss Giles' memory to Cornerstone United Methodist Church, 2697 Heckle Blvd., Rock Hill, SC 29732. Condolences may be made at www.greenefuneralhome.net.
