Katherine D. Ansley passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at her home. Katherine was born May 8, 1936 in Detroit, the daughter of Charles and Hester (Smith) Ansley, and has been living in West Olive for the past 40 years. She was a member of the Pioneers, loved animals, watching birds and deer, and her life was rescuing animals. Surviving are her numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Charles Ansley Jr. There will be a graveside service 2:00 PM Wednesday at the Chambers Cemetery, Geneva Township. Arrangements by the Bangor Chapel, D. L. Miller Funeral Home.
