Dorothy Baber, 90, died Saturday, January 26, 2013 in a local care center. Graveside service with Charles Kuhn officiating will be held on Monday, January 27, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. in the Hart Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Melton-Kitchens Funeral Home.

Dorothy Pauline Hodnett was born on March 9, 1922 in Aubrey, Texas to William Hodnett and Rachel Hawkins Hodnett. She married Boots Baber on August 11, 1951 in Graham. She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church and had worked at Walls Manufacturing and was the Meter Maid for the city of Breckenridge.

Survivors include, daughter, Sue Reed; sister, Janie Gardner; sister-in-law, Margaret Hodnett; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Boots Baber; son Frank Rice; son-in-law, Michael Reed; four brothers; and two sisters. Memorials can be made to the donor's favorite charity.
