Laurel Women's Mother Passes
Funeral services for Mrs. Maria Bertina Brooks, 70, of Billings, were held Monday at the Custer Congregational Church with the Rev. A. R. Lodahl of the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Billings officiating.
Burial was in the Custer Cemetery, Custer, MT., with Smith's Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Brooks died of a brain tumor Thursday morning in Billings.
Mrs. Brooks, mother of Mrs. Harold Gremmer of Laure, MT., is survived also by three sons, Joseph E. Brooks of Billings, William B. Brooks of Cody WY. and Jack Marlowe Brooks, Three sisters, Mrs. Otto Hinkley of LaCrosse, WS., Mrs. J.H. Musser of Melrose, WS., and Mrs. Harry Granolds of palermo, N.D.; four brothers, Elmer Dokken of McGregor, N.D.; Carl Dokken of Palermo, Nels Dokken of Quincy, WA.' and Martin Dokken f St. Paul, MN.; and 15 grandchilrden.
