Barbara Forrest, 68, of Springville died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013, at her residence.

She was married on Sept. 30, 1979, to James "Jim" Forrest, who survives.

Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at McEvoy Funeral Home.

Bobby Sanders and Billy Ross will officiate. Burial will follow in Ephesus Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Carroll County.

Named as pallbearers are Brandon Hart, Jeffery Wilson, Christopher Burns, Lonnie and Aaron Forrest and Mark Fasolo.

Honorary pallbearers will be Eddie Martin, Travis Cox, Ronnie Nash and Jim Hutson.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Friday.

Born Oct. 5, 1944, in Nashville, she was a daughter of the late Alonzo Cleveland Raymer and Thelma Louise Briley Raymer.

Forrest was a member of Springville Baptist Church. A family member said she loved the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting and she loved her flowers.

She leaves three daughters: Sheila Sanders of Springville and Melisa "Missy" Sanders and Retha (Pete) Burns, both of Paris; two sons: Eddie (Amanda) Forrest of Henry and Timmy William (Cheryl) Forrest of Puryear;

Three sisters: Willie Merrell and Mary Threet, both of Paris and Thelma Louise Raymer of Tennessee; three brothers: Alonzo "Cleevie" Raymer of Paris, William "Bill" Raymer of Memphis and her twin: Bobby Raymer of Pennsylvania;

Sixteen grandchildren: Brandy Evans, Brandon Hart, Tina Fasolo, Jeffery Wilson, Christopher Burns, Cody and Brittney Nance, Aaron, Will, Lonnie, Michelle, Jessica, Brandon and Tyler Forrest, Jade and Ivey Anderson; and several great-grandchildren.

She also was preceded in death by one daughter: Jennifer Anderson; one son: Jerry DwWayne Sanders; and a sister: Dorothy Elkins.
