Esther M. Gavin, a resident of Shullsburg, Wis., formerly of Harvey and Florida, died Wednesday, March 27, at Memorial Hospital, Darlington, Wis.
A service was Saturday with a Mass at St. Matthew Catholic Church, Shullsburg, Wis., with the Rev. James Lins officiating. Interment was in St. Matthew Cemetery, Shullsburg, Wis.
Esther Gavin was born Oct. 7, 1919 in Frankfort. She was employed at JcPenney Co. for over 20 years. She was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church and active in the Senior Citizens Program in Shullsburg.
She is survived by two sons, Gerald of Cuba City, Wis., and Robert (Gayle) of Park Forest. Her husband, Steve, died Jan. 31, 1996.
Arrangements were handled by O'Flahrity-Erickson Funeral Home, Shullsburg, Wis.
