Anna Sutter Young helped bring her father's remains back to California 67 years after his death, and had him buried at historic Sacramento City Cemetery where a large upright memorial greets visitors at the entrance to the cemetery. Anna died in 1970 and is buried with her father.

Also according to her CADI she died in San Mateo County not San Francisco and her SSDI record states her last residence was Daly City, in San Mateo County.
