Norman J. Ritchott 1932-2008 CHICOPEE - Norman J. Ritchott, age 76, passed away on Nov 20, 2008 at the Farren Care Center in Montague, MA. He was born in Chicopee on June 3, 1932 to the late Joseph A. and Viola (Hebert) Ritchott. He lived most of his life in Chicopee. He was a communicate of Assumption Church. Norman was an Army Veteran and also a charter member of the Chicopee Municipal Credit Union. He was the City Auditor for Chicopee from 1966 until he retired in 1998. He was predeceased by his brother Roger Ritchott who passed away in 2006. He leaves one sister Paula Ritchott of Miami, FL; one sister-in-law Evangeline (Roy) Ritchott of Chicopee; one niece Renee Wiater and one nephew Guy Ritchott and four grand nieces. Funeral Service Monday, Nov. 24, 2008 with a Mass of Christian burial in Assumption Church, Chicopee. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Grise Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Donations may be made in Norman's memory to Assumtion Church, 104 Springfield St., Chicopee.
