Violet Tate Grimm, born October 21, 1922, in Spokane, Washington, to Lloyd and Selma Thon, passed away April 25, 2006, peacefully, after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease.

Violet was preceded in death by her only son, Dennis Tate Sr., in 1997.
She is survived by her loving husband, George Grimm, of Arlington, Washington; daughter, Sharon Dawn Tate; daughter-in-law, Fran Tate; grandson, Dennis Tate Jr., his wife, Laura, and their son, Daniel Tate; granddaughter, Denise Marie Tate-Miller, her husband, Ray, and their son, Tony Miller; brother, Floyd Thon, of Spokane, Washington; numerous nieces and nephews in Spokane; and many, many loving friends. She will be missed very much by all who knew and loved her.
A private memorial will be held.

Remembrances can be made to the Shriner's Children's Hospital, the Alzheimer's Association, or the charity of your choice.
