Otis H. Thompson, Jr., (Woody) 64, of Killeen, Texas died January 11, 2013 at home after a prolonged illness. He was born in Orange, Texas to Otis and Laura Thompson.

Services with Military Honors will be held at the Central Texas Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, Texas.

He proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1967 to 1987 and retired as a MSgt. He also served two tours in Vietnam.

He is preceded in death by his son Otis H. Thompson, III and his parents Otis and Laura Thompson.

Otis Thompson is survived by his wife Jackie of 32 years, and their children Fredrick, Peggy, Jonathan, and ten grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Kayren, Eddy, Steve, Felicia, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Otis had a love for the outdoors, especially when it came to hunting and fishing. Otis will be sorely missed by many, including his beloved pets Little Bit and Penny.
