Bertha was a daughter of Murphy Sherman Carrow and Sadie Evans. She was married twice, 1st to Roy Lee Haddock with whom she had one know child, Mavis Lee Haddock. Roy died same year that Mavis was born. Bertha remarried to Leather "Letha" Haddock sometime after Roys' passing, known children with "Letha" are Lavone Haddock, McBryde Haddock and Lois Ann Haddock.

Mrs. Bertha Carrow Haddock, 94, passed away Saturday, May 26, 2012.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday at 4 p.m. in the Wilkerson Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Pinewood Memorial Park.
Mrs. Haddock, a native of Pitt County, lived most of her life in the Chicod community. She farmed with her husband and later worked as a seamstress and furniture upholsterer. She was a member of Hollywood Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Haddock was preceded in death by her husband, Letha Haddock; a son, Lavone Haddock; and a daughter, Mavis Archer.
She is survived by her son, McBryde Haddock, and his wife, Kay, of Ayden; daughter, Lois Ann Cannon, and her husband, Bobby, of Ayden; grandchildren, Leonard L. Haddock and his wife, Angie, Sue Williams and her husband, Donald, Angie Worthington and her husband, Keith, and Bobbie Jo O'Geary and her husband, Bryan; five great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; and a very special niece, Hazel Williams.
The family will receive friends today from 6-8 p.m. at Wilkerson Funeral Home.
