Catherine M. Castlebury, 68, long time Guymon resident died Sunday, June 16, 1991 at Memorial Hospital of Texas County (Guymon, Okla.)
The daughter of T. J. and Elizabeth Clawson, she was born Jan 23, 1923 at Guymon.
She was a graduate of Guymon High School and attended Panhandle A & M in Goodwell. She was a member of the St. Peter's Catholic Church of Guymon.
She married Billy Joe Castlebury Oct. 4, 1947 at Clayton, New Mexico.
Mrs. Castlebury made her home in Lubbock, Texas for several years, returning to Guymon in 1971. She was a homemaker and worked as a waitress retiring in 1982.
She is preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Agnes Clawson, Madonna Wilkinson and Anastasia Clawson.
Survivors include two daughters, Nancy and her husband Greg Gossett of Mulvane, Kansas and Rita and her husband, Steve Tuttle of Guymon; three sons, Cecil Castlebury and his wife Sherry of Goodwill, Joe & Cynthia of Orlando, Florida, and Billy Joe Castlebury and his wife Conya of Guymon; grandchildren; two brothers. J. T. Clawson of Casa Grande, Ariz. and Mark Clawson of Wichita, Kan., and one sister, Frances Vogel of Tucson, Arizona.
Prayer services will be conducted Wednesday, June 19 at 7:30 p.m. from the Bunch-Roberts Chapel.
Funeral services will conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. from the Bunch-Roberts Chapel with Fr. Tim Luschan officiating.
