JOSEPH BUSHONG CHICAGO

Joseph Bushong, 64, Chicago, and former Jefferson County area resident, died Feb 24 1976, at Presbyterian St. Luke's Hospital in Chicago. He was a maintenance mechanic for the Royal Crown Cola Co. in Chicago. Mr. Bushong was born April 10 1922, in Waltonville, the son of John and Lulu (Newbury) Bushong. He married Marie Macalonas, who survives. The funeral will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Providence of God Church in Chigago. Burial will follow in the St. Casimir Cemetery at Chicago.
Friends may call 2 to 9 p.m. Friday at Adolf-Berwyn Funeral Home. Additional information may be obtained by contacting Hughey Funeral Home. In addition to his wife, Marie, Mr. Bushong is survived by one daughter, Gloria Belonax of Chicago; two grandchildren; one brother, Virgil Bushong of Waltonville; and three sisters, Mrs Thurman (Opal) Rector and Mrs. Evelyn Nordin, both of Mt Vernon, and Mrs. James (Ruth) Randor of Springfield. Mr. Bushong was a World War II Navy veteran. He was a member of Providence of God Church and VFW, both of Chicago. He was preceded in death by his parents.
