Death of Mrs. Appleby.
A telegram was received here last Saturday by Mrs. T. D. Daniels announcing the death in Rome, Ga., of her grandmother, Mrs. V. J. Appleby. The deceased was about 78 years of age and had long been a consistent member of the Methodist church. She was a resident of LaFayette for many years and will be remembered by her host of friends here as the widow of the late Judge John Appleby, once Probate Judge of this county. She was a good woman and many old friends will regret to learn of her death.
