Stella Girón passed away at the age of 83, after a long and difficult illness.
Stella was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Florian Girón.
Stella is survived by five children, Glenn Girón, Patrick Girón, Jeanette García, Shirley Girón and Karl Girón. Stella had nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Stella is survived by one sister, Clorinda Montoya and one brother, Eliseo Saavedra. Stella loved and was greatly loved by her children and grandchildren.
Our mother will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at Daniels Family Funeral Services Wyoming Chapel, 7601 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM with a Rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. A service will be held on Friday January 18, 2013 also in the Wyoming Chapel at 9:00 a.m. with burial to follow at Santa Fé National Cemetery, Santa Fé, NM at 11:15 a.m. Pallbearers will be Eric Girón, Matthew García, Patrick Girón, Dominick Girón, Devin Girón and Kasondra Girón.
