Nancy Annette Barbea peacefully passed from this life Wednesday evening, May 30th, 2012 with her husband at her side at her residence in East Quincy, CA.

Born September 4th, 1943 in Bremerton, Washington at the age of four Nancy and her family relocated to Quincy after a brief stay in the San Francisco East Bay. She is a 1961 graduate of Quincy High School and following graduation worked at the Lariat Lodge and later for Plumas District Hospital in their kitchen.

Introduced through mutual friends to a handsome young gentleman named C. Dee Barbea the couple was united in matrimony on July 25, 1970 in Reno, Nevada. Dee's career with the California Highway Patrol led the couple to move to Concord, CA where they resided form 1970-1983. While residing in the East Bay Area Nancy was active with the Wetted Wheels Motorcycle Club as well as the Twilight Twirlers Square Dancing Club. The couple returned to Quincy in 1983 where Nancy became active with the Mt. Jura Gem Society out of Taylorsville as well as the Feather River Model A's Club.

Nancy found pleasure in cruising the back country with her husband in their Jeep, touring on their motorcycle, rock hunting and beach combing as well as collecting antiques and working in her garden.

In passing she leaves her best friend and love of her life; her husband Dee of Quincy, daughter Katy Marie Barbea of Salt Lake City, Utah as well as her beloved companion Kekoa.
