James Ruble Carter

Mr. James Ruble Carter died Thursday at the Arbor Place of Clinton in Clinton KY.

He attended the Water Valley Baptist Church and was a truck driver and heavy equipment operator for the former McDade Construction Company. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in WWII as a military police officer and was a member of the American Legion Post #72 in Fulton KY. He lived most of his life in Graves County KY.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Linda Mae Carter of Water Valley KY, two daughters, Wanda Wilson of Mayfield KY, Rita Cude of Wingo KY, a son, Brent Carter of Fulton KY, eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife Sarah Lois (Hawkins) Carter in 1957, his parents William J. and Myrtie (Bradley) Carter, and six brothers.

Funeral services for James Ruble Carter will be held at 2PM Sunday in our funeral chapel. Burial will follow in the Camp Beauregard Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 5PM to 8PM Saturday.
