To this marriage two children were born; son Kenneth and daughter Carolyn.
Ruby has been a member of the Lakeside Church of God for 55 years and was known for being a lady of great faith. She had a ministry of helps that blessed many people. Ruby was blessed with the Gift of Hospitality. She could accommodate family and visitors alike. She was employed at the University of Oklahoma in Food Service for 27 years before she retired.
Ruby was an accomplished cook. People always enjoyed her meals and desserts. She was an excellent seamstress and enjoyed doing flower and vegetable gardens.
She is survived by a daughter, Carolyn Adams; a son, Kenneth Adams and wife, Martha; two grandsons, Mark Adams and wife, Cheryl; and Scott Adams and wife, Gayleen; three great-granddaughters, Kate and McKenzie Adams, and Megan Moore and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years; her parents, three sisters and four brothers.
Special thank you to Katrina Tassinari of Lifecare Oklahoma and Phyllis Madden for all of their special care given. The family will receive friends 2-4PM Sunday at Primrose Funeral Service. Services will be 1PM Monday at the Lakeside Church of God with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
