Bobby Joe Gideon, age 59, of Spring City, died Sunday, March 13, 2011 at his residence.
A lifetime resident of the Spring City community, Bobby Joe was the son of the late Arlie and Laura Mae Hale Gideon. He worked for many years in the transportation industry. Bobby Joe was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his sister Rosemary Gideon and infant brothers James and Dewayne Gideon.
Bobby Joe is survived by his son Jody Lynn Webb of Summer City, brother Ronnie Gideon of Grandview and sister Lillie Mae Gideon of Sparta.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. His remains were cremated.
