Died at home of brother-in-law, Lindsey Dew.
"Featherston Allen, aged 20, son of Mr. and Mrs. W.S. Allen, died at the residence of his brother-in law, Mr. Lindsey Dew, in Hamburg, about three o'clock Monday afternoon from the effects of a wound received in a difficulty with another boy at Berea on Christmas Day, 1908. At that time, he was struck on the head with a piece of timber from the effects of which paralysis ensued, and while everything that medical science could suggest was done in an effort to relieve him, all proved in vain. His parents and relatives have the deep sympathy of the community."
