Samuella married Raymond Alvey and moved from KY to TX in 1880. She had 9 children with 8 living to adulthood. Her first born child was Amanda Alvey who was born about 1859 and died sometime after the 1860 census was taken as she does not appear again with family. The other child missing is daughter Sarah Ann Alvey born 15 Sep 1875 in Union County, KY according to KY birth records which give parents names as: Raymond Alvey and Samuella Smith. Sarah appears as Sallie E. age 5 with her parents and siblings in the 1880 Union Co. KY census. She appears as Sallie Hartgroves in 1900 McLennan Co. TX census with husband J.W. Hartgraves which should be Hartgroves. The cemetery where Sallie was buried 1909 is now covered by the Brazos river.
She also appears as Samuella Alvey in the Old Bartlett City Cemetery (which is just outside the gates of Bartlett City Cemetery). This is how she was entered twice. I thought the two were one cemetery.
