Son Of Former Perryville Pastor Dies In Accident
LT. HAROLD CARR WAS MALARIA VICTIM SENT FROM ETO TO FT. BRAGG
Lieutenant Harold R. Carr, son of the Rev. and Mrs. J. G. Carr, pastor of -London Methodist church and former pastor of Perryville Methodist church, was killed yesterday in an automobile accident at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. An Army pilot who had seen action in North Africa and Europe, Lieutenant Carr had been returned to the United States to recuperate from an attack of malaria. Funeral services have been set for 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon at London Methodist church, They will be conducted by Dr. O. B. Crockett, Methodist superintendent of the Danville district, and Dr. S. C. Rice Of Fort Thomas. The information was relayed to the Advocate-Messenger office by the Rev Smith Gilmore, pastor of Perryville Methodist church.
