She was so proud to let people know she was married to the Love of Her Life, Joe, for 62 years.
She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes church in Enola, Pennsylvania.
She was the daughter of the late Ruth and William Held of Elmira, NY and a graduate of Elmira South Side High School.
Shirley was an avid golfer and loved to travel. She enjoyed spending time with her four grandchildren.
Shirley was preceded in death by 6 siblings and is survived by one brother, George Held.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Joseph Jessick, her son Joseph L. Jessick and wife Barbara of Mechanicsburg; and daughter, Janice Lose and husband Jeffrey of Bonita Springs, Fl.
She has four grandchildren: Zachary and Jamie Lose, Eileen and Laura Jessick.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, December 29th at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 225 Salt Road, Enola, PA 17025. Visitation will precede the Mass from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M at the church. A luncheon will immediately follow in the church social hall. Internment will be at the convenience of the family.
