Services for George Euell Arflack, Jr., 84, Frankfort, KY, will be held Wednesday 10 AM at LeCompte-Johnson-Taylor Funeral Home. Burial, with Military honors, will take place in Owensboro, KY at 2:00 PM CST, with visitation at the chapel in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 1:15 PM till time of service. Rev. Keith McAliley will officiate.

Mr. Arflack, Jr. died Monday, December 6, 2010, at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, KY. A native of Repton, Crittenden Co, KY, He was the son of the late George Euell and Deedie Brantley Arflack. He served in the Army during WW II and also the National Guard. He was a member of Bridgeport Christian Church, Masonic Lodge #256 in Marion, KY, Shriners Scottish Rite, Madisonville, Past Commander and member of VFW Post 4075, Life member of National Guard KY and USA and KY State Police Retirees Association.

He was proceded in death by his wife, Frankie. Survivors include three daughters, Vicki Linzy (Marlon), Henderson, KY, Terri Bolin (Kevin), Owensboro, KY and Pam Atkins, Savannah, Georgia; one son, Norman E. Arflack (Cindy), Frankfort, KY; two sisters, Grace Tanner, Owensboro, KY, and Vergie Reisinger (Jack), Lexington, KY; grandchildren, Kimberlee Barre, Jennifer Bradburn, Aaron Arflack, Holly Trent, Grant Sauls, Courtney Bolin, Allison Bolin, Landon and William Arflack, Alex and Jesse Atkins and five great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be John Barton, Jack Adams, Alan Daughtrey, Darvin Sebastion, Tom Wingate and Joe Oliver. Honorary bearers will be Bill Landeck, Salen Wingate, Red Sams, Clyde Smith and Marie Hardin.

Expressions of sympathy maybe made to Bridgeport Christian Church, Glenna Wingate Scholarship Program, 175 Evergreen Road, Frankfort, KY 40601.

Visitation will be Tuesday December 7, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at LeCompte-Johnson-Taylor Funeral Home.
