Ellianor Annetta Anderson died Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012, after a long illness. She spent the last few years of her life in the New Horizons Care Center enjoying the company of her sister Hannah.

All the staff members of the Care Center knew Ellianor to be very kind and loving. They enjoyed taking care of her.

She was born to Hans and Nellie Haggen on Oct. 10, 1930, in Lovell. She was married to the handsome Elton Esmond Anderson, who died on Feb. 27, 1992. She was sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on March 10, 1948.

She loved to work in her beautiful iris garden, which surrounded her home. When she was alone she liked to sing and play the piano, but mostly she loved to spend time with her family. She was an expert seamstress. Her cooking and baking were famous, at least to her family. She was generous with both her time and her resources.

She was always willing to give of herself to anyone in need. Her life was dedicated to nurturing her family. She worked throughout her life to provide for her family and was knowledgeable about both fabrics and auto parts. She worked for many years with her nephews and sister at the automotive shop. She loved to go for drives and all her grandchildren looked forward to those trips.

She was preceded in death by her husband Elton, sons Gene, Jack and David, daughter Shirley, one grandson, four brothers and one sister.

Her loving presence will be missed by her surviving family: Gail and Leroy Collins of Lovell, Rex and Betty Anderson of Lovell, Jean Kay and Robert Howe of South Jordan, Utah, 16 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were held on Monday, Nov. 19, 2012, at the Lovell Cemetery. Haskell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
