He married Anna Quapaw. He was 20 years old, & she was 18. Their children were Ruth, John Henry, Haya Alfred, Edna Frances, Harvey, & Jesse.

On January 3 - 5, 1920, John, shown as Harvey, age 27, & Anna, 26, were renting a home in Peoria, Ottawa Co, OK, & John supported them by farming. Their children were Ruth A., age 7; John Henry, 5; Haya Alfred, 3; & Edna F., 3 months. Claudia Dry, age 13, was a boarder.

On April 29, 1930, Harve, age 39, & Anna, 37, still lived in Peoria where they rented a home, & he supported them by farming. Their only child living at home was a son, Jessie, age 3 years & 2 months. Ed Smith, age 18, was a lodger & servant, who helped Harve on the farm.

"MUDD MINE LEASED
Harve McKibben and Hoffman have leased the AMERICAN METAL CO. Henry Mudd tract of land from the Eagle-Picher Mining & Smelting company and will begin operations at once. The Mudd lease adjoins the Adams mine on the south and was mined by the Anna Beaver Mining company, the ore being milled over the Adams mill. It was a very profitable mine. McKibben and Hoffman will send the ore from the lease to the Central mill of the Eagle-Picher company."

On April 18, 1940, Harve, age 50, & Anna, 47, owned a home in Miami, Ottawa Co, OK on H. St. NE valued at $1500. This was where they had lived in 1935. Harve was a field manager in mining. Their children were Edna, age 20; Harvey, 19; Jesse, 15; & John, 26.

News spread about Harve's death was published in Miami & Joplin Newspapers.

"Harve M'Kibben Succumbs at 64
Ex-Mining Figure Native of County

Harve McKibben, 64-year-old life-long resident of Ottawa county died Monday in a Clinton hospital where he had been a patient one week. McKibben had been active in the local mining field since boyhood. He entered semi-retirement in 1941 and had been In failing health since that time. For several years, McKibben was associated with the Commerce Mining and Royalty Co as a mining-lease specialist. His later years in mining operations were with the Indian Mining and Royalty Co. of which he was part owner. He sold his interests in 1941 and moved to the Promenade district east of Quapaw where he was living at the time of his death.

Survivors include his wife, Anna of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Charles Banks Wilson, 24 1/2 A street northeast, and Mrs. W. E. Watson, Dallas; four sons, Harvey McKibben, Colorado Springs; John Henry McKibben, Oklahoma City, Hayes McKibben and Jesse McKibben, both of the home; two brothers, Jake McKibben, Baxter Springs, and D. F. McKibben of the Promenade district, and two sisters, Mrs. Frank Smith, Fairland, and Mrs. J.W. Mitchell, Brooklyn, N. Y.

Funeral arrangements were incomplete today. They will be announced by the Cooper Funeral home."

Last rites for Harve McKibben will be held Thursday morning at 10:30 o'clock in the Cooper Funeral home chapel. The Rev. Harry Curtis will officiate. Burial will be in the GAR cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Irvin Wilson, Bob Whitebird, Waite Sixkiller, Park Jones, Corb Garrett and Shade Stone.

McKibben, 64, died Monday in Clinton hospital. Prominent in the local mining field, he had lived in Ottawa county all his life."

"PROMENADE DISTRICT RESIDENT DIES AT 84
MIAMI, Okla., March 20- R. McKibben, 84 years old, of the Promenade district died Monday in a sanatorium at Clinton, Okla,where he had been a patient for a week.

He had lived in Ottawa County and the district all his life and was a retired mine operator.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Anna McKibben; McKibben; two daughters, Mrs. W.E. Watson of Dallas, Texas, and Mrs. Charles Banks Wilson of Miami; four sons, Harvey McKibben of Colorado Springs, Colo., John Henry McKibben of Oklahoma City, and Hayes McKibben and Jesse McKibben of the home; two brothers, Jake McKibben of of Baxter Springs, Kan., and D.K. McKibben of the Promenade district; two sisters, Mrs. Frank Smith of Fairland and Mrs. J. W. Mitchell of Brooklyn, N. Y., and 14 grandchildren.

The body was received by the Cooper Funeral Home."
