On December 24,1935,she was united in marriage to Albert Thomas and to the union was born four sons. Her husband Albert and son Charles preceded her in death.
Laura was a long time member of Candock Baptist Church. She was employed for many years at Rice Stix Factory and Breech Medical Center, She was also employed with Civil Service at Fort Leonard Wood for several years.
Laura enjoyed baking,her speciality was cinnamon and dinner rolls, she also enjoyed working in her flower gardens.Her family was of the greatest importance to her.
She is survived by three sons, Leonard, Jerry and Dennis and his wife Darlene all of Lebanon,Mo. a daughter-in-law Pauline Thomas also of Lebanon, one brother, Sherman Barr of Springfield, Mo. sixteen grandchildren;forty-eight great-grandchildren;thirty-one great-great grandchildren;and two great-great-great grandchildren;also several other relatives and a host of friends. Laura was also preceded in death by her parents;three sisters, Ethel Sharp, Myrtle Rose and Marie Davis.
Laura was a very special Lady. She will forever be missed and always remembered by those who knew and loved her.
Our loss is surely Heaven's gain.
