Mrs. Elizabeth Allison.

Mrs. Elizabeth S. Allison, wife of Alexander Allison, died at the home of her son - in- law, J. R. White, in Steubenville, Ohio, yesterday. Mrs. Allison was born in Hancock county, where she spent the greater part of her life. She resided in Steubenville about 18 months. She was 70 years of age. Mrs. Allison united with the Presbyterian church in early girlhood, but on her removal to Steubenville, she became a member of the M. E. church of that city. The following children survive: Mrs. Davis, wife of the Rev. A. H. Davies, of Freeport, Pa.; Samuel J. Allison, of Cleveland, Ohio; the Rev. G. A. Allison, of Scenery Hill, Pa.; Mrs. J. D. Hunter, of East Liverpool, Ohio, and Mrs. J. R. White, of Steubenville, Ohio. One brother, John A. Snowden, also survives. The funeral services will be held from the New Cumberland, W. Va., M. E. church at 10:30 Saturday morning. Interment will be made in the Fairview cemetery.
