Son of Daniel Cock. Married on August 23, 1821 by the Reverend Marmaduke Earle to Ann Feeks, daughter of Daniel Feeks and Ann (aka Nancy) Cock Feeks of Meadow Side, Matinecock, Long Island, NY. Peter owned the homestead settled by his great-greatgrandfather James Cock. Peter farmed, known to be progressive and one of the first to produce asparagus and noted to be congenial in his dealings. The couple had 10 children:
