"The LaFayette Sun" - August 15, 1934:

Mrs. Miller is Buried Here Mon. Afternoon.

Mrs. Arthur M. Miller, formerly Miss Alexander, of LaFayette, died at her home in Wichita, Kansas, on Friday morning of last week following an extended illness. The body reached LaFayette on Monday for interment in the local cemetery.
Mrs. Miller was for several years a resident of this city, being a niece of Mrs. J. M. Tucker, of this city. Surviving are a husband, Arthur M. Miller, and one sister, Miss Louise Alexander, of Wichita.
Rev. Walston was the officiating minister at a short service at the grave. Robinson & Cutler, local undertakers, were in charge of arrangements.

And....in the same issue:

Mrs. A. M. Miller.

Mrs. Callie Alexander Miller died Friday night, August 10th, at St. Francis Hospital in Wichita, Kansas. Mrs. Miller was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Alexander, and the niece of Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Tucker, of this city.
She was married on October 14, 1920, to Mr. Arthur M. Miller, of Wichita, Kansas, and spent the years of her married life in that state, making occasional visits to her old home here, which she loved so well.
Some years ago disease fastened itself upon the fair form of Callie and through the subsequent years she had been a great sufferer. Heroic and patient through months of pain her tired, wasted body longed for the unending rest which comes for God's children. Every ministration which medical skill could give and nursing could offer was hers. The constant devotion of husband and sister helped to alleviate her distress, but these could not stay the inevitable.
And before time had made this fair young body old, she was gathered to her fathers.
Many LaFayette friends recall the joyous young girl going and coming here at the hospitable home of her aunt and uncle, her own second home, and will miss her sweet presence.
Her body was brought here Monday, accompanied by her husband, Mr. Arthur M. Miller, and her sister, Miss Louise Alexander, and met by a concourse of old friends and relatives. It was interred in the beautiful LaFayette cemetery in the family lot, close by those whom she loved and lost a while.
And so we say:
Dream on, fair one, thy rest encouched in tears,
Thy dust commingled with the dust which bore thee,
At home at last, through all unending years,
Where snowdrops keep spring's festival above thee.
Lie low and sleep, all life's distresses done,
The moon's soft glow, the constant rising sun,
Caress you here - and caress every one,
Who come back home to rest, when life is done.
