Mrs. Beitz was born at Battle Creek, Neb., August 4, 1875, and moved to Hillsboro in Oregon in 1945 from Petersburg, Neb. She came to Woodburn three years ago and had been living with a sister, Mrs. Pauline Dimick. Her husband, Charles, died in 1917. She was a member of the Congregational church.
Surviving are her sister; two brothers, William Edens of Colone, S.D., and L. R. Edens of Monrovia, Cal.; and 14 nieces and nephews.
