Margaret D. Maggie (Matheson) Ahern, of Holbrook formerly of Cambridge passed away after a lengthy illness Dec. 30, 2012 at the age of 89. Loving mother of Leonard W. Ahern of Randolph, Gary P. Ahern of VA., Deborah Ahern-Ridlon of Carver, and Phillip Hibbard of VA. Daughter of the late John and Edith (Wambolt) Matheson. Also survived by 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Maggie was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, grew up in Cambridge, MA and had lived in Holbrook for over 50 years. She was a health care provider for many years. She was also an active member of Amvets Post #51, Randolph as well as being a great lover of animals. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours Saturday from 2 to 5 p.m. in the Cartwright Funeral Home, 69 So. Franklin St. (Rte. 37), Holbrook followed by a memorial service in the funeral home at 5 p.m. Should friends desire memorial contribution may made to the N.E.
