Jonathan Biggs "J.B." Adams went to be with the Lord January 1, 2013, at the Mississippi State Veterans Home in Kosciusko. He was born June 13, 1920 to Clifton Clyde (C.C.) Adams and Hattie Matilda Biggs Adams in Kosciusko, MS. Visitation will be Friday, January 4, 2013, at 9:30 a.m. prior to the funeral at 11:30 a.m. at Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko, MS. Burial will follow in the Marvin Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery north of Kosciusko.

He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Clyde Adams; two sisters, Louise Adams Bain (Hollis), and Marie Adams Flanagan (Ralph), and one son-in-law, Dwight Rone.

He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Helen Walker Adams; three daughters, Elizabeth Adams Collins (Joe) of Madison, MS and their children, Mary Helen Collins of Nashville, TN, and Guyton (Guy) Collins (Karla Whitwer Collins) and daughter, Daisy of Madison, MS; Linda Adams Rone of Kosciusko and children, Denae Rone Cain (John-Mark Cain) and children, Kinley and Breelyn of Kosciusko and Stephen Rone (Haley Jordan Rone and children, Ethan and Evan of Clinton, MS; Connie Adams Brunt (Harvey Brunt) of Kosciusko and children John Clifton (Cliff) Brunt (Anna Costagliola) of Millstone Township, NJ and Cindy Brunt Howell (Albert Howell) and children, Natalie and Kaitlyn of Kosciusko; one sister-in-law, Mildred Bain Adams, age 99.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Marvin Chapel United Methodist Church, c/o Ralph Miller, 22287 Highway 12, Ethel, MS 39067-6118 or The Gideons.
