Daughter of the late John B. and Helen Hakey Palyo, she was retired from the City of Gainesville. She was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church where her funeral was held on February 12, 2011, with Father Frank Richardson officiating. She was survived by her husband, John Adamcik; daughter, Denise Vesco; son, Richard Adamcik (Telisa); five grandchildren; sister, Patricia Franks (Robert; good friend), Mary Kesler (Gary); and an extended family of relatives and friends.
