Our loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend was taken from us on December 14, 2012.
She was born to Sally Fernandez on September 28, 1957 in Pueblo, Colorado, where she spent her childhood. She moved to Utah in 1989 and raised her five children, whom she loved dearly, Jermaine, Richie, and Jenna Griego, Frankie (Rosa) Sisneros, and Mario Rodriguez.
She was employed by Smith's Market Place as a baker for 17 years. She was a very hardworking, caring, and special person, who loved and lived life to the fullest. She will be missed dearly by everyone who knew her.
Alice is survived by her children, six grandchildren, Jack, Jahmaine, Frankie Jr., Laya, Lola "Little Moms", and Armani; two sisters, Geraldine and Mary Jane; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother Sally and nephew baby Alex.
A funeral mass will be celebrated Friday, Jan. 4th at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Ann Catholic Church, 450 East 2100 South. A vigil service will be held Thursday, Jan. 3rd at 7:00 p.m. also at the church, where friends may call from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. Committal, Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 4th Avenue and T Street. Funeral directors, Neil O'Donnell and Sons.
