PENDLETON-Samuel F. Mounts Sr., 71, 319 W. High St., died Sunday night following a four-month illness. Born in Sullivan County, he had resided in Anderson 42 years. He retired in 1974 from Guide Division as a press operator. He was a charter member of Faith Assembly of God and a member of UAW-CIO Local 663. Surviving are his wife Emma; a son Samuel F. Mounts Jr., Anderson; two daughters Mrs. Donald (Charlotte) Niccum, Anderson; and Mrs. R.C. (Carolyn) Mitchem, Danville; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; three brothers, Arvel Mounts, Alexandria, Arthur Mounts, Moonsville, and Lester Mounts, Auburn, Wash; two sisters, Mrs. Ernest (Minnie) Medley, Carlisle, and Mrs. Forrest Cleveland, Lyons; Nieces and nephews. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park cemetery.
