Florentine Menzemer, 77, a lifelong Jo Daviess County resident, died Thursday afternoon at his home in Galena after an extended illness.Surviving are his widow, Nettie; two daughters, Mrs. Esther Ditzler, Galena; Miss Viola Menzemer, Oak Park; five brothers, Charles and John, both of Guilford Township; Ben of Elizabeth; Frank of Warren; Lincoln of Galena; and two sisters, Mrs. Paul Smith, Warren; and Mrs. Oscar Hancock, Galena. Funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Nash Funeral Home. Burial will be in Galena Cemetery.
