Helen Blanche Moorman, 80, of Wichita Falls, passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2012.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 31, 2012 in the chapel of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Sparks, officiating. Interment will follow at Crestview Memorial Park under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.
Helen was born August 20, 1932 in Pampa, Texas to the late Ronald Henry and Eva Alice (Smith) Tracy. She attended church all of her life, and was a member of Lamar Baptist Church for 31 years where she volunteered at the Activity Center. She also was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels. In January of 1993, she retired after 32 years from the Civil Engineering Accounting Department at SAFB. After retirement, she enjoyed babysitting her great-grandbabies. She was also preceded in death by her husband in 2006, William Elvin Moorman; her brother, Barry Tracy; and her grandson, Jonathan Moorman.
She is survived by her four children, Eddie Golleher and wife Martha of Wichita Falls, Cathy Terrel and husband Norman of Granbury, Shirley Cress and husband Jim, and Steve Moorman and wife Lisa all of Wichita Falls; her sister, Pat Steinman and husband Frank of Wichita Falls; two brothers, Harry Tracy of Wichita Falls, and Larry Tracy and wife Norma of Greenwood, Arkansas; her step-son, Curtis Mason of Phoenix, Arizona; ten grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
