She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Joseph Daniel Brashier of Katy, Texas; brother, Robert Howell McGinnes of Kemah, Texas; and her children, Diane Brashier Honzell and husband, Robert, of Katy, Roy Brashier and wife, Erin, of Katy, Brenda Brashier Galvan and husband, Armando, of Sweeny and Mary Brashier Sucher and husband, Joseph, of Katy; grandchildren, Ross Vernor, Courtney Honzell, Charissa Ramirez, Phillip Vernor, Jennifer Ramirez, Jordan Brashier, LeaAnne Honzell, Garret Sucher and Joseph Sucher; and honorary grandson, Vasuphon Kriangprapakit "Mor" of Bangkok, Thailand.
She was born on March 5, 1942, in Houston, Texas, to Dora Mae and Velmo Roy McGinnes.
Visitation for Vivian will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 2009, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581. (281) 485-4446. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 8, 2009, in the Clayton Chapel. Interment will immediately follow at SouthPark Cemetery in Pearland.
