Mrs. Edna Griffith, 47, wife of Wilson A. Griffith, died unexpectedly May 6, in her home in Rochester. She was ill two hours of heart disease. Mrs. Griffith was born in Waterville, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hudson Wheeler. She attended the Clinton school. She was married February 2, 1918. For the last 18 years she and Mr. Griffith had lived in Rochester. Mrs. Griffith was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, Rochester. Surviving, besides her husband, are three sons, Gordon H., Fort Jay, Governor's Island, and Kenneth and Earl, Rochester; two brothers, Clifford and Louis and several cousins. The funeral was conducted at 2 p.m. today from the Turnock & Owens Funeral Home in Clinton. Burial was in Sunset Hill Cemetery, Clinton.
