Bus strikes, kills a man in Silerville A 36 year old McCreary County man
was struck and killed by a bus early Saturday, state police in London said. William Baird of Strunk died when he ran across US 27 in Silerville and was struck by the Pine Knot Job Corps bus, police said. The accident occurred at 12:50 a.m.
Baird was the cousin of Ber nice King.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at R.F. Neal Funeral Chapel, Pine Knot. Visitation will be after 9 a.m.
