Frances E. Baxter, 91, a resident of Eaglewood Assisted Living passed in her residence.
She was born in Springfield on August 11, 1908, the daughter of Michael and Mary (Heptig) Cox.

She retired as a secretary from the Springfield Bus Company in 1945 after 20 years of service. She was a member of St. Teresa Catholic Church, Alter-Rosary sodality and the Women's Town Club.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Swisshelm; second husband, James Baxter whom she married on June 6, 1981; three sisters, Emma, Josephine and Annetta; and a brother, William.

The family was served by the CONROY FUNERAL HOME, Springfield, Ohio.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
