Clarestine Jones Copeland, of the 1500 block of St. Julian Ave., a native of Norfolk, died Monday, Jan. 18, 1999, in her home. She was the widow of Isiah ''Foots'' Copeland.
She leaves to cherish her memory a son, Michael B. Copeland of Norfolk; three daughters, Regina C. Lundy of Suffolk, Vanessa A. Copeland of Chesapeake and Angela L. Copeland of Norfolk; a brother, James ''Cy'' Jones; four sisters, Cleo J. Hines, Velma J. Cunningham, Lucille J. Seals and Denise J. Parker, all of Norfolk; three grandchildren, Christopher Jernigan Jr., Jessica Copeland and Arnita Lundy; nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends.
A service of celebration will be held at noon Friday at New Union Chapel A.M.E. Church with the Rev. Dr. Clifton R. Wilson officiating. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery . The body will be taken to the church at 10 a.m. Graves Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
